Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra Release Date, Specs Rumors: Reports Reveal 13-Inch Display

Following the release of the purported specs for Sony's next Xperia flagship, the Xperia Z4 smartphone, another alleged information surfaced, this time for the upcoming Z4 tablet Ultra. The leak indicated that the device could be "an actual monster," according to reports.

As stated by the website, the Chinese tech site Padnews revealed this week that Sony intended to unveil a "monstrous" 12.9-incher Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra with an enormous display resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels 1,073,741,824 color TFT.

The snapshot of the Z4 specs also indicated that underneath the device is a powerful 2.86GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor that will be accompanied with a 6GB amount of RAM and 64GB of storage memory space.

The report from Padnews also pointed out that the purported device will have an HDMI input to accommodate 4K video camera recording and is capable of playing HD movies up to 60p.

The unit will also have a PS4 Remote Play capacity. It will also feature Exmor RS imaging sensor and has a lens type of 25mm F1.8 Cal Zeiss lens.

To run the colossal specs, the new Z4 tablet will house a 12,100mAh battery pack. The leak also said that the device will have a thickness of 8.6mm.

As previously reported, the Sony Xperia Z4 tablet along with the Xperia Z4 smartphone is expected to be unveiled in the forthcoming MWC 2015 which will take place sometime in February 2015.

The leaked information about the Xperia Z4 phone meanwhile claimed that it will remain in the 4.7-inch display screen size bracket. However, the device will have a much powerful Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 20.7MP primary camera.
