South Park's 20th Season will air on September 16 at 10PM on Comedy Central.
Comedy Central released a promotional clip of the popular and long-running satirical animated show "South Park" last September 1 for its 20th season. However, the trailer did not contain new animation material. Instead, Comedy Central showed a nostalgic 'By the Numbers' video of its previous 19 seasons.
"South Park" is well-liked for its comical contemporary satire. One of the contents of the trailer was the number of political satires they produced. For Season 20, fans are waiting for "South Park's" hilarious take on the present situation of the United States' Presidential election campaign. While Garrison is announced as the central character for the season as he runs for president, followers are also anticipating the presence of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's animations and satirical banters in the show.

In the show's previous season, viewers saw the raging of guns in the finale. For Season 20, followers can expect to see how the characters will provide solutions to the issues presented in season 19.
In an interview, creators of the show Trey Parker and Matt Stone revealed what they have for the United States' top presidential candidates. Parker and Stone saw the need to include this political tug-of-war between Clinton and Trump before the talks fade away. However, at the same time, they are concerned of how viewers and critics will take their comical satire. They also found it unnecessary to bring back the Trumps as it was seen as awfully brutal, based on the parodies done in the last episode.
With Paley Center for Media celebrating the animated show's 20th season, President and CEO Maureen Reidy also expressed her delight and gratitude for the viewers' continued support. Reidy is proud to express that "South Park" has undeniably provided crucial impact to society with its fearless satirical stance on cultural trends and current events.
The Video Game
Meanwhile, the latest video game linked to the series named "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" will be distributed by December 6 and will be made available to PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One units.
The video game is also made compatible with a Virtual Reality mask called Nosulus Rift, which will allow players to smell the character's farts. The VR Unit will hold its debut at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany along with the new "South Park" videogame.
"South Park" season 20 is slated to air on September 14 at 10 PM E.T. in Comedy Central.
