'Spider-Man: Homecoming' News: Hasbro's Marvel Legends Line Could Indicate New Iron Man Suit Debuting
In preparation for the release of "Spider-Man: Homecoming," Hasbro has released their Marvel Legends figures based on the upcoming film. And while Spider-Man in a homemade suit is certainly intriguing, attention has also been focused on the Iron Man figure in the line, particularly because of the drastically different suit he is sporting.
ComingSoon managed to get an exclusive look at the figures that will be released by Hasbro. It includes a Spider-Man web wings version and a Spider-Man homemade suit version. But the excitement definitely lies within the special two-pack, which includes Spider-Man and Iron Man.
The Iron Man seen in Hasbro's Marvel Legends lineup is noticeably donning a different suit. In the Marvel films, Iron Man has different suits, but all of them feature the red and gold theme, with red being the dominant color. However, the Hasbro figure is more silver than anything else. Granted, the armor still sports the colors red and gold, but the difference is obvious.

According to Comicbook.com, this could be indicative of Iron Man's revamped suit in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Even though fans are used to seeing Iron Man in the classic red and gold armor, the upcoming movie could change that. However, the publication also points out that Hasbro has previously released figures for other Marvel films that were not featured, citing examples in "Captain America: Civil War" and "Doctor Strange."
And while this may be the case, it is also important to consider that the silver Iron Man comes with a Spider-Man in a special two-pack. And this move could allude to a new Iron Man suit making an appearance.
As for Spider-Man's suit, fans are looking forward to seeing the upgraded costume in action. Tom Holland's Peter Parker got a little help from Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, and a clip showing the new features of the suit was even released as part of a promo.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will premiere on July 7, 2017.
