'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC: The Battle of Jakku Debuts in London, Gameplay Trailer Released
The latest DLC from Electronic Arts' "Star Wars Battlefront," The Battle of Jakku, made its debut in London. The newly released trailer showcases the DLC's gameplay.
In "Star Wars Battlefront's" official website, EA announced the world premiere of The Battle of Jakku DLC as it live streamed on Twitch.
After the live event, The Battle of Jakku's newest trailer was uploaded to EA's Star Wars YouTube channel.

In the trailer, the voice-over can be heard describing how the battle at Endor was only the beginning and how the people from the barren world of Jakku are taking up arms against the Imperial invader. The footage shows rebels and stormtroopers battling it out on the ground, while an aerial battle is ongoing between the Imperial's Star Destroyer and rebel planes.
Viewers can see glimpses of the action from the point of views of the rebels on the ground and the one's in the air. The video ends with an exploding AAT, a falling Star Destroyer, and cheers from the rebels.

The Battle of Jakku DLC includes the new Turning Point mode and two maps, Graveyard of Giants and Goazan Badlands. The DLC is out now for those who pre-ordered "Star Wars Battlefront." The rest of the players will receive the free DLC on Dec. 8. The Battle of Jakku DLC was created in collaboration between DICE and Lucasfilm.
In "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Jakku is depicted as a battle-scarred landscape. The Battle of Jakku DLC takes players back to the time that created this effect. The free content is set 29 years before the events of "The Force Awakens." In the wake of Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, the Battle of Jakku became "a pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet."
