'Star Wars Episode 7' Plot to Include Star Fighter Seen in New Video with J.J. Abrams

The Star Wars Episode 7 plot will feature the star fighter seen in the recently released behind the scenes video with J.J. Abrams.

The clip was created to promote "Force for Change" which is a charitable initiative to support UNICEF. It features the director of the film walking in front of a ship which will be featured in the new film. It also encourages viewers to make a $10 donation which will enter them into a competition where they could win a trip to the set and an appearance in the new Star Wars. The prize will also include an advanced screening of Episode 7.

The contest will close on Friday and more details on it can be found at www.omaze.com/StarWars.

The film's cast recently added actress Christina Chong. Her previous work includes spots on "Doctor Who" and "24: Live Another Day." Chong's role in the film has not yet been revealed. She will also star as the female lead in the upcoming "Halo: Nightfall" live-action digital feature that is being directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan of "Falling Skies."

Other new additions to the cast include newcomers Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson who were discovered during an open casting call held last year by Lucasfilm. Clarke and Anderson were chosen from 30,000 actors and actresses.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy commented on them joining the cast in a recent statement.

"The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition," she said. "We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film."
