Starbucks has announced that it will give away a holiday drink this season for every drink purchased. The offer will last from Nov. 17-20.

Starbucks Giving Away Free Drinks this Holiday Season

The buy-one-get-one-free marketing tool has been around since time immemorial, and Starbucks has perfected it through its many free product campaigns. Giving away products helps to keep old customers and win new ones, and it appears Starbucks is hoping for just that during the Christmas season.

Accordingly, customers will have a choice of receiving one of three free holiday drinks during this campaign, Gingerbread Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte, and Peppermint Mocha.

Customers logged into the company’s Facebook page to leave messages of appreciation.

Marcia A. Colcer: “Buy One Holiday Beverage November 17-20th from 2-5. Ya, buddddddy!”

Peret Sheerin: “This is such a simple concept, but so many companies that should know better fail to close this particular barrier to customer engagement.

Kasha Williamson: “So glad the holiday coffees are back, gingerbread latte, here i come.”

Sara M. Ford: “hmmm sounds great what about a hot banana latte?”

Heather Bleier: “BOGO at Starbucks woo-hoo.”

In the past Starbucks has given away gift cards as well as discounts on products. The company has always professed to being a company of experiences, beyond the selling of its signature beverages.
