Suge Knight was cuffed again this week when he was arrested in Las Vegas on marijuana charges.

The former head of Death Row Records' arrest came while he was serving a three-year unsupervised probation.

That could mean more legal troubles for the rap mogul.

It was a bust done in such a way as to almost guarantee a legal battle.

Police pulled over Knight's Bentley after it made an "unsafe lane change." After checking the driver for warrants, police discovered several traffic warrants out for Knight. Then they searched his car and found drugs.

One of the warrants was for driving on a suspended out-of-state license.

The question remains if Knight consented to the search or if Las Vegas police can prove reasonable suspicion to search the vehicle.

It could prove to be the difference between a harsh sentence and walking free for Knight.

Knight was responsible for launching the careers of many of the rap greats. He helped start careers for Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.

Knight, however, has also been equally associated with legal troubles.

Along with the drug charges and traffic violations, Knight was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in 2010. A year before that, he was involved in a hotel brawl that left him needing medical attention.

In 2008, he had another run-in with the law in Las Vegas after he allegedly punched his girlfriend and pulled a knife on her outside a strip club. He was also arrested on drug-related charges that same night.

Marijuana arrests are not uncommon in the rap world. Rapper Snoop Dogg was recently arrested in Texas for marijuana possession, adding another stint in the joint to his record.

It is unclear how the most recent legal troubles will impact Knight's work. It also is not known how it will affect his current probation sentence.
