'Suicide Squad' Exclusive Clip Features Harley Quinn, Joker and Amanda Waller in Action

Movie Teaser-Trailer Gives Fans a Glimpse of Villains-turned-heroes

Fans and followers are eagerly anticipating the premier of "Suicide Squad" on the big screen this coming Aug. 5, and teasing their imagination is a recently released exclusive extended clip from Warner Bros. The trailer gave a preview of what to expect in the much-awaited film.

The Joker Laugh

So far, fans are asking whether Jared Leto can fill in Mark Hammill's shoes as the Joker. Hamill made fans question Leto's talents as the Joker as he let out a chilling laugh in a panel interview for "Batman: The Killing Joke." In a previous trailer for "Suicide Squad," a short laugh can be heard from Leto which was not enough to convince fans.

In the extended teaser first seen on IMB, Leto finally gave fans goosebumps as he let out a spine-tingling laugh which faded into the trailer soundtrack. This trailer got awesome reviews from fans and made them more eager to watch the movie.

Cute but Deadly Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn has a standing-ovation performance in the teaser. According to DC, Harley does everything just to put a smile on her true love's face. And everything means dressing in costume, carrying gag-themed weapons and harassing and murdering people just to please the Joker. Harley puts the pun in the teaser as she maintained a bubbly yet psychotic image despite explosions, gun shots, murderous villains and even being locked up in Arkham Asylum. Fans, especially male ones, are eagerly anticipating Harley's premiere in "Suicide Squad."

Intimidating Amanda Waller

"How to Get Away with Murder" star Viola Davis is Amanda Waller in the film, and she does what Waller does best: intimidate people. According to an article about the actress on her role as Amanda Waller in Refinery29.com, the villains in "Suicide Squad" may not be as bad as the person who recruited them, which is none other than devilish Amanda Waller. In the clip, Waller looks tough, cool and ready to pick up a gun and shoot. Davis said that she is fascinated in exploring Waller deeper, and she is as excited to "pick up a gun and shoot at anyone at will."

More Heroes to Watch Out For

Aside from the Joker and Harley Quinn, the trailer also gave fans a peek at Karen Fukuhara as Katana which was actually something to think about since Katana is obviously a superhero who plays alongside Batman and later with the Arrow on television. Viewers were also able to spot the Batmobile cruising by which made them think if Batman is actually secretly following the "Suicide Squad" in Midway City.

"Suicide Squad" is set to premiere on Aug. 5 in the United States. Fans can catch the cast and the director of the movie at the San Diego Comic-Con International on July 21 to 24.
