'Supernatural' Season 10 Air Date, Spoilers: Dean Goes Nuclear in 'Hunter Games'

Things are getting more intense as the hit supernatural TV series "Supernatural" continues to roll out the second half of its Season 10.

In a teaser clip provided for the upcoming episode titled "The Hunter Games," Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) was seen returning to the spotlight. Although still bound in chains, Metatron is shown being held captive by the Winchester brothers in their family stronghold. He spoke with Sam (Jared Padalecki) telling him that his brother has gone "full-out, foaming at the mouth manic; he's gone nuclear!"

The scene shifts to Dean (Jensen Ackles) who is obviously going berserk, gave Charlie (Felicia Day) an explosive punch in the face after she tells him, "There's the Dean I love."

The footage goes forward to show the elder Winchester going all bad. Right in the end, he also gave Metatron a swinging punch.

But hope isn't lost for Dean. IBTimes indicated in their report that Castiel (Misha Collins) will help Sam find his brother and cure him.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Collins dished that he will also play an important role in de-marking Dean.

"Cas is intimately involved in trying to remove the Mark," Collins said. "It's definitely shaping up to be a team effort, but Cas will be instrumental in 'de-marking' Dean ... Getting the mark gone is an important mission for the rest of the season, and I think that that struggle is taking the fore[ground] in terms of ... illness."

"In this stretch of the season arc, the focus is on Dean, and Cas' health is not nearly as much of an issue," he continued.

"Supernatural" Season 10 episode 10 airs this coming Tuesday, Jan. 20 on The CW.
