'Supernatural' Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: New Season Is the 'Year of the Deanmon'

The "Supernatural" season 9 finale was definitely a shocker when fans found out that Dean's (Jensen Ackles) death transformed him into something else because of the Mark of Cain. The final image of his scene revealed him opening his eyes that are "demon black."

All the while, Sam (Jared Padalecki) had been desperate enough to summon Crowley (Mark Sheppard) so that he can save his brother. Much to his knowledge, the King of Hell was already inside Dean's room.

With the coming of "Supernatural" Season 10, fans will find Sam looking for his brother and Castiel searching for Metatron, which he believes to be the only way that the expulsion of the angels be reversed.

The CW released an official synopsis for season 10's premiere episode entitled "Black."

"DEAN IS LIVING IT UP AS A DEMON WHILE SAM HITS ROCK BOTTOM IN THE SEARCH FOR HIS BROTHER — Dean (Jensen Ackles) is a demon and running amuck with Crowley (Mark Sheppard) while Sam (Jared Padalecki) tries to figure out what happened to his brother. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) is dealing with his diminishing grace," the summary reads.

A recently released brief promo video also showed Deanmon or Demon Dean enjoying his new nature with violence, women, alcohol, and karaoke. Castiel even told the younger Winchester that his sibling is no longer the person he once knew to be.

The scene of the trailer ended with Dean drunkenly singing Right Said Fred's song "I'm Too Sexy" and getting booed by other bar patrons.

"Supernatural" Season 10 will return on air Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
