While a new character is headed to "Supernatural," the actress selected for the role is not yet known. Interestingly, the casting call specified an actress who has or who can imitate a Scottish accent, according to TVLine.

As previously reported, Misha Collins was hired as a season regular in season 10. The actor portrays Castiel, who has quickly become a fan favorite. The actor previously discussed the initial reaction "Supernatural" viewers' had to his character.

"At first, people were wary of anybody coming in that might take attention away from Sam and Dean, but [now] its like, 'All right, there's a little extra room,'" Collins said, according to AfterElton.com.

Furthermore, Mark Sheppard who portrays Crowley has been promoted to a series regular as well. The demonic character first appeared on "Supernatural" during season five as the King of Crossroads. In light of Dean turning into a demon at the end of season nine, he will likely call on Crowley to help him.

"Supernatural" season 10 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 7. Beforehand on Oct. 6, The CW is airing a "Supernatural" retrospective to help fans revisit the past nine seasons.
