'Supernatural ' season 11 plot news: Appearance of Lucifer and God?

With the 11th season of "Supernatural" soon approaching, it was reported that the Winchester brothers will tackle their most dangerous enemy yet.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the previous season unleased the Darkness, which was an evil that God had defeated during a pre-Biblical battle. It was reported that the Winchester brothers will have to deal with the new character for the episodes to come. Actor Jensen Ackles shared details on the character, revealing that there is little known on how to deal with the Darkness. He said, "As of right now we have it built as one specific entity, obviously that would be a character that we're introducing. But whatever the reach of that character, what that character can do, we're not quite sure of. We don't know the scope of her powers. This one's interesting because it's not really a monster. It's more of a primal force that we know nothing about. There's no lore; there's no guidebook; there's no instruction manual on how to deal with this."

It was reported by Screen Rant that the brothers will be struggling to compete with the Darkness, especially in comparison to the type of entities they had to deal with in the previous seasons. The premiere will begin where the previous season left off, which showed Dean, played by Ackles, and Sam, played by Jared Padalecki, stuck in the Impala, while Darkness surfaced. With that, the reason of the season will have Dean and Sam seeking help from others such as Metatron, played by Curtis Armstrong, in order to know more about the Darkness. Padalecki also teases that the appearance of the Darkness can open up the possibility of showing Lucifer or even God to the series. It is likely since the season will deal with several biblical elements.
