Although Dean and Sam are happy to have their mother back in "Supernatural" Season 12, they still need to get to know Mary. They are not even sure how she will respond to them because they know that the last thing she wants is for her sons to be hunters and she is now in a world where they are hunters.

Sam gets help from Cas and Mary

Sam will be very much alive after getting shot last season but was unfortunately kidnapped by a member of the British Men of Letters, Lady Toni (Elizabeth Blackmore). In "Supernatural" Season 12, Dean will realize that Sam is missing. He sets out with Castiel (Misha Collins) and Mary to look for him.

The team of three will soon find out that fighting with the members of the British Men of Letters to rescue Sam certainly is not an easy feat. Fortunately for both of her sons, Mary turns out to be an excellent supernatural hunter in the first episode of "Supernatural" Season 12.

New vessel for Lucifer

Also in last season's finale, Lucifer was zapped out of Castiel's body by Amara. This means that he is without a vessel in the "Supernatural" Season 12 premiere. What he will be doing is to jump from one vessel to another until he eventually settles in the body of an aging rock star named Vince Vicente (Rick Springfield).

With God now gone, many are wondering what it is that Lucifer really wants. EP Andrew Dabb explained in an interview that Lucifer will discover that God had the right idea in some ways especially in the cocept of worship. In "Suoernatural" Season12, Lucifer thought of getting that almost God like worship in taking the body of a rock star.

Winchester brothers fight Hitler

One of the storylines in "Supernatural" Season 4 that is worth watching for is when the brothers fight Hitler with the help of Adam Rose (Aaron Bass), who was last seen helping the hunters fight necromancers who happened to be Nazis back in Season 8. In the new season, they will fight Hitler himself but he will not be seen until the fifth episode.

The "Supernatural" Season 14 premiere will air on October 13 on The CW.
