Surge of Support Lifts Up New MercyMe Album

Following the release of their sixth project last month, multi-platinum Christian band MercyMe hit the Billboard Top 200 SoundScan charts once again, landing in spots near Hollywood stars Jay-Z and Beyonce.

In addition, the band sold 83,626 units in its first week of release, 30 percent ahead of its previous recording, Coming Up To Breathe.

The new album, All That Is Within Me, reached as high as No. 16 on iTunes' Top 100 Albums list, and has been No. 1 on iTunes' Top Christian Albums list since its Nov. 20 release via INO Records.

"We have felt quite a groundswell of support for MercyMe and their new project on every level," remarked INO president Jeff Moseley. "Radio, media and retail have really come to the table to show their commitment to this band, and for that we are truly grateful."

Following their album release, MercyMe made live in-store appearances and performances and visited radio and retail in Dallas, Minneapolis, and Washington.

The band's schedule included retails such as Wal-Mart.com, iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Sony Connect, Borders, Barnes and Noble, FYE Stores, Napster.com, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com.

MercyMe will hit the road in support of All That Is Within Me as they headline the Winter Jam tour starting Jan. 10.
