Suri Cruise to Launch $2 Million Kids' Fashion Collection?

Suri Cruise will reportedly launch her first ever fashion line in a New York city department store in Autumn of 2013.

The 7-year-old daughter of famed Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and actress Katie Holmes reportedly scored a $2 million deal to launch her brand name "Suri." The collection will allegedly include everything from girls' dresses, tops and jeans to shoes and accessories, according to The Sun U.K.

"Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes. She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school," a source told The Sun.

"This is a nice hobby for her, it's certainly not going to take over her life. Most girls dream of being able to make their own clothes, this just means her drawings will now become a reality," the source added.

If successful, the Suri collection will reportedly expand across North America with sources claiming there are also talks about a potential boys' collection. Holmes, who is a fashion designer, is expected to play a role in the creative design process.

"It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, there's nothing around quite like it," the source said.

Initially there were reportedly plans for Suri to have her very own fashion blog, but the concept was extended after she began expressing interest in designing her own clothes.

Holmes, 34, showcased her clothing line Holmes & Yang for the first time at New York fashion week in 2012. The actress teamed up with her longtime stylist Jeanne Yang to launch the luxury designer collection.

In June Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise after six years of marriage and eventually the actor agreed to give the actress primary custody of their daughter.
