At the moment, they are seventh in the league with 55 points and are only four points behind Manchester United who are fifth and hold next year's UEFA Europa League spot.

The Reds are at 34 games at the moment while most have already played 35 so they should try to use that to their advantage to get the points they need.

However, the Reds have other things to worry about as they are still in the UEFA Europa League competition this year and are at the semifinals. They are currently behind Spanish club Villarreal 1-0 on aggregate and they are playing at Anfield next week.

As for their league form, the Reds have not lost in their last five games. They drew against Tottenham Hotspur and, most recently, Newcastle United, but they have also notched wins against Stoke City, AFC Bournemouth and Everton.

However, they are facing a long list of injuries as Divock Origi, Jordan Henderson, Emre Can, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and others are still out due to injury.

On the other hand, Swansea are 15th in the league with 40 points and need at least a point to ensure that they remain in the top flight next year.

They have had tough losses in their last two league games as they lost to Newcastle United 3-0 and then to Leicester City 4-0. They still have Liverpool, West Ham United and Manchester City to face before their season closes.
