Swift's Disgusted Reaction Fails to Dampen Mood as Justin Bieber Thanks Jesus Following Win (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift's so-called disgusted reaction at Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's embrace backstage at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday did not dampen the mood for the Canadian crooner, who walked away with the award for Top Male Artist, and used the opportunity to thank Jesus Christ as he celebrated his win.

On Monday a video of Swift making a disgusted face at the sight of Gomez and Bieber embracing went viral. Gomez and Swift were walking along together when Gomez bumped into Bieber, and she then leaves Swift and goes to embrace him. Swift, seeing them together, turns her face away and sticks her tongue out with a "yuck" type expression on her face.

The incident was found funny by many who saw the viral video, but it has not taken anything away from Bieber's achievement, and he ended the night celebrating a Top Male Artist award.

Bieber said, "I want to thank all my fans. I want to thank my whole family, thank you guys so much."

His celebrations did not just end there however, and Bieber was also awarded with the Milestone Award. In his acceptance speech he said, "I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job. And basically, from my heart, I just really want to say it should really be about the music.

"This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously. And all this other bull should not be spoken of. I wanna thank my manager, Scooter Braun."

He added, "I wanna thank my family at home. I wanna thank my mother, my father, I wanna thank Jesus Christ. Mom, I love you so much. Dad, I love you. Little brother and sister, I love you so much. Thank you guys so much. Fans, you're incredible."

During the night's show, Gomez kicked off the awards with a performance of her new single "Come and Get It." She later introduced Taylor Swift as she performed "22."

Meanwhile, Bieber took to the stage to perform "Take You," and later also performed with Will.i.am for his song "#thatPOWER."
