'Switched at Birth' season 4 news, cast, spoilers: Bay's struggle to get back on her feet will be what the premiere is about

The summer premiere of "Switched at Birth" is just around the corner, and viewers of the series are wondering what they can expect on the 11th episode of this season.

Last episode, fans saw Bay's, played by Vanessa Marano, life go on a 360-degree turn, as she sacrificed more than any of the characters during the season. According to Enstarz, Marano shares what her role will be experiencing, "This is a character who didn't do anything for herself last season. She took the fall for Daphne...she got rejected from art school, she stopped doing street art, she tried to move to California for Emmett. She has nothing of her own right now so Bay's struggle this season is far more than just losing out on what she perceives to be the love of her life. It's like losing out on everything that made her happy and she's got to figure that out."

It's a lot for anyone to take and her heartbreak over Emett would be her main dilemma. Although it will be a huge struggle for Bay, the show intends to showcase how she will slowly be okay, despite all the bad things that have befallen her.

Daphne will also be experiencing some sort of relationship drama, along with a pregnancy surprise happening this season. Cartermatt shares a synopsis on what can be expected. It goes, "Bay is haunted by her breakup with Emmett and struggles to figure out where their relationship fell apart. Daphne's excitement about her new relationship with Mingo is hampered by her friends' opinion of him. John and Kathryn's new accountant has some bad news. Regina digs deeper into the story of Eric's ex-wife, and everyone is shocked by the news that someone is pregnant."

The show maintains its stand on tackling tough issues in life that are relatable to the viewers, which is probably why so far on it's still being followed on its 4th season. Switched at Birth returns to ABS Family on Aug. 24, Monday, at 8 p.m.
