'Switched at Birth' Season 4 Release Date, Plot News: Lea Thompson Teases 'Big Financial Problems'

The second half of the current fourth season of ABC Family's hit drama TV series "Switched at Birth" is due to premiere in a couple of days and a handful of plot details for the upcoming episodes are already popping online. Here's the latest we heard:

Cast member Lea Thompson revealed that the struggles of Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) would only continue come the next part of the season and this time, it would involve some money matters.

"There's going to be big financial problems with John and Kathryn and that's going to be really challenging," the actress who plays Bay's adoptive mother told E! Online. "They're so used to being able to fix everything and being the mama and papa bear, but they can't this time and that's going to be really hard on them."

TV Guide meanwhile shared the details for the midseason premiere and the following episode for Season 4B. According to the publication, Kathryn will try to help Bay get over with the breakup with Emmet (Sean Berdy).

It is also teased that towards the end of the episode, fans will see Bay and Travis (Ryan Lane) commiserating over their respective lost loves.

The second episode, on the other hand, will find Bay under scrutiny at school. She will once again be distracted when she discovers that the new harassment policy has put her in the spotlight, the site wrote.
