'Switched at Birth' Season 4 Premiere News, Spoilers: Daphne to Deal Issues of Her Future; Bay Explains to Emmet

The hit teen/family drama series "Switched at Birth" is now ready to kick off the year with all-new episodes for its brand new 4th season and spoiler reports suggest that fans should not miss its premiere as the story will pick up right from where it ended in the last season.

A report from Enstarz.com pointed out that Daphne (Katie Leclerc) will be dealing the issues concerning her future following the scandalous acts she committed before graduation. Fans already know that Bay (Vanessa Marano) took the blame, which makes the story of the two even more complicated.

Citing TVGuide.com, the publication indicated that the new season will start off with Daphne and Bay coming clean with their respective parents about what they've done.

The episode will then feature the events 10 weeks to where Daphne "is overwhelmed with guilt."

"Bay made the choice ... so Daphne in this weird place where she wants to make it up to her but it's something [Bay] chose to do. Bay has a huge battle to climb," cast member LeClerc told TV Guide.

Speaking about her first days in college, the actress went on to reveal that this new chapter in life won't be easy for her character.

"We're dealing with college life and some really difficult issues i never saw coming," she said.

As for Bay, she will do some big explaining to Emmett (Sean Berdy) about her taking someone else's blame.

In a recently-released promo, Emmett asks, "How can you make a big decision without me?"

"Because I didn't want to be talked out of it and I knew if I didn't go through with it, I was going to regret it every single day knowing I could've done something and didn't," Bay answered.

"Switched at Birth" Season 4 premiere airs this Tuesday, Jan. 6 on ABC Family.
