Switchfoot Slated for Fifth Studio Release
Christian rock band Switchfoot is slated to release their fifth studio project this summer.
Arriving in August, the new album is entitled "Nothing is Sound." Frontman Jon Foreman said the new collection reflects the intensity of touring and the mindset of a band away from home for months at a time.
"It's a rock record," he said. "My favorite rock records have been honest, where you feel them way deeper than your ears."

Switchfoot's previous album, "The Beautiful Letdown," has been certified Double Platinum after occupying a spot among the top 50 Billboard sales chart for the past eight months. Since the release of "Beautiful," the band has played over 300 performances worldwide, mostly sold out, in front of over 1.25 million fans.
