Switzerland vs Ecuador Live Stream Free: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online

Switzerland will play Ecuador on Sunday as Group E gets its World Cup 2014 started, and although it doesn't appear to be the most glamorous of group stage matches, fans may be surprised to know that Switzerland are in fact ranked No. 6 in the FIFA World rankings. They will face off against a very competent Ecuador team today as they battle to take a grip of Group E. The game will start at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Switzerland have amazingly only lost one game in their last 18 matches over the past two years and that has seen them rise up the FIFA rankings to a position that many may feel is unwarranted.

However, football is a results game and the Swiss have had a fantastic run, and they will hope they can continue the run for another seven games at this year's World Cup.

Ecuador meanwhile will be no pushovers. They are ranked much lower at No. 26, and they do have clear frailties, but they have qualified for the World Cup on merit and they will prove a tough test for the Swiss today.

Ecuador will be looking towards Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia to spearhead their offense today. He is known for his mazy runs and his close ball skills, and if Switzerland do not get tight to him then he has the potential to devastate their defense and win the game for Ecuador.
