The Swype keyboard is now available for Ice Cream Sandwich users.
"Your favorite custom keyboard for Android, Swype Beta, just updated with Ice Cream Sandwich compatibility," wrote 9to5 Google. "Sadly, this update still does not make Swype available on the Android Market, but you can download it from the Swype website."
Swype is a custom keyboard that comes pre-installed in many Android smartphones. It allows the user to drag their finger across the keyboard in order to type out a word. According to 9to5 Google, it is very intuitive and definitely worth a try.
"Besides seeing ICS compatibility, Swype Beta also saw an upgrade for improved word accuracy, new downloadable languages, and add-ons with DragonGo," added 9to5 Google.
The new Swype Beta is currently available for download on Swype's official website.
As for Ice Cream Sandwich, the operating system seems to have stirred up quite a buzz despite it only being available on roughly 1 percent of all Android devices.

The software debuted late last year on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone and is expected to make its way to other high end Android devices.
It will also be available as an upgrade for select Android tablets.
A report surfaced yesterday that stated that Android 5.0, Jelly Bean could possibly be launching in the third quarter of this year. ICS's slow launch could be one reason why Google might make that move.
But before that happens, Ice Cream Sandwich will be available on some other popular Android devices including the Droid Razr, Droid Bionic, Samsung Galaxy S2 and Nexus 4G.
The most popular of these being the Galaxy S2 that is expected to receive the upgrade to the operating system sometime next month. Motorola's device upgrades have been pushed back with no tentative release date.
