Tamar and Towanda Fight Ends After Twitter Tirade

Tamar and Towanda Braxton became embroiled in a sibling feud on Twitter following an episode of their star "Braxton Family Values" earlier this month.

While the extent of their issues with one another remain unknown, the drama between the sisters escalated when Towanda took aim at Tamar's husband, Vince, via Twitter. The tweet arose after one of Tamar's fans suggested Towanda was jealous of "multi-millionaire" Vince.

"Check the web boo! He also owes $3.3 million to the irs… guess I'm jealous of that too huh," Towanda wrote.

In mentioning Vince's tax problems, Towanda sparked a strong reaction from "Braxton Family Values" fans who defended Tamar. As a result, Towanda addressed her Twitter tirade against Vince.

"I didn't care that [Tamar's fans] were attacking me, I didn't care that they were attacking Andre, what I cared about was when they started attacking my kids," Towanda explained, according to Enstars. "They said, 'I wish Towanda's kids got raped and run over by a bus.' See people didn't see that stuff. They just saw what I wrote. So after that I have to say that I was 100% out of character for Towanda to respond, but I wasn't thinking about what was right and what was wrong at that moment, I want just reacting and responding."

Despite the tension, Towanda revealed that the feud with Tamar has since come to an end. It turns out that Towanda's publicist as well as the oldest Braxton sister, Toni, urged her to stop using Twitter. Also, while Tamar was "pissed" what Towanda tweeted about Vince, the sisters came to an understanding.

"[They were] like, 'Okay, we get it,'" Towanda explained. "We wouldn't have done it that way but we get it."

"Braxton Family Values" season four wrapped on WEtv on Feb. 20. Watch a clip from the show here.
