Tamar Braxton, the 36-year-old singer-songwriter and reality television star, is speaking out against those people who believe she may be too old to have a baby.
Braxton, the star of WE Tv shows "Tamar & Vince" and "Braxton Family Values" took to her Instagram account to let fans know that she is not too old to have a career, family, or any other dreams that she wishes to pursue.
"I've been called everything but a child of God! The bottom line is that no matter what u say or feel, I'm NEVER going to stop pursuing my dreams and Goals," Braxton's Instagram message reads. "If I'm 188 1/2 still trying, nothing you say or do will move me. So get used to being mad cause GOD is just getting started with me. #thatsall"
Braxton and her music executive husband Vince Herbert are expecting their first child but may have different views about how to share the experience with fans on their joint reality television show "Tamar & Vince."
"My husband's not comfortable with any of this ... I think we're going to let them in as much as we can," Braxton told Hiphollywood.com recently. "You don't want to bring your viewer all the way to the point where you went through in vitro, then it didn't happen like that and it happened naturally. I just think it's a story to tell and not to tell the whole story is kind of unfair."
Braxton first revealed her pregnancy on "Good Morning America" after documenting issues with fertility on her reality television show. She told told the morning talk show about the couple waiting to announce their pregnancy to the world until they were ready.
"Vince and I [were] told we were going to have fertility problems- it was a lot of information- so we had to get comfortable with the fact that it happened on its own," Braxton said on "GMA" earlier this year. "We decided [not to announce the pregnancy] until we were both really okay with it- that's why we waited."
