Tamera Mowry is still basking in the glow of new motherhood and has released pictures of her baby boy, Aden John Tanner Housley, who was born two days ago. The actress and husband Adam Housley welcomed Aden two weeks after his original due date.
According to In Touch magazine, Mowry tried everything to induce labor after still being pregnant two weeks after her scheduled due date. She apparently tried a variety of natural inducers, including pineapple juice, spicy food, walking and squatting and primrose oil. Unfortunately, none of that worked and Aden was determined to stick to his own schedule.
He finally made his appearance on Monday, Nov. 12, much to the delight and relief of his parents.
"We are so happy!" Adam told In Touch. "He is healthy, happy, strong, beautiful, and our families are so excited to have another grandchild, cousin and nephew."
Tamera's twin sister, Tia, gave birth to her first son in June last year and published a book entitled "Oh, Baby: Pregnancy Tales and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another." Baby boy Cree is the pride and joy of Mowry and her husband Cory Hardrict.
"We are both so excited to be parents," the couple told Us Weekly magazine. "We have been wanting this a long time!"
Now that both sisters have baby boys, it's only a matter of time before they possibly start their own entertainment careers. Tia, Tamera, and younger brother Taj have been acting since they were 12 years old. They starred on their own series "Sister, Sister" together but have since worked as individuals on a variety of shows.
They recently reunited for another joint production on the Style Network. "Tia & Tamera" has followed the sisters since July 2011 and has featured them going through hard times and big life changes such as Tia's pregnancy and Tamera's wedding.
