The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders promises to be a fierce clash in the NFL on Sunday afternoon. These two sides, although not traditional rivals, have some bad blood between them and that should make today's game extra intriguing. The game starts at 4.05 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.
These two teams have only played twice since the 2003 Super Bowl, and only a meagre eight times in NFL history, however, the cross trades of Jon Gruden and Warren Sapp in the mid 2000's has ensured there is a fierce rivalry between the two teams.
Tampa Bay have been poor so far this season and come into this clash with a 3-4 record. However, amazingly even with a negative record they sit second of the NFC South. Atlanta Falcons are way out ahead in the division, and remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL this season with a 7-0 record. Tampa Bay have little hope of catching them but will want to consolidate their push for second place
Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders have not exactly set the NFL on fire this season either and have a similarly mediocre 3-4 record. They however sit third in the AFC West chasing second placed San Diego at 4-4 and first placed Denver Broncos at 4-3.
A win today for the Raiders would be massive in the drive to catch those two teams, and although not many would give Oakland much hope of winning the division, stranger things have happened and Oakland will still believe they can do the unlikely.
This match up will also pit Josh Freeman against Carson Palmer. Freeman has completed 123 throws from 223 attempts for 1800 yards and an impressive 14 touchdowns. On the other side Palmer has completed 162 throws from 269 attempts for 1941 yards but for only 9 touchdowns.
