At the moment, the Lightning are at 29-20-4 which is good enough for fourth in the Atlantic Division.

However, more than their record and standing in the division, the Lightning are looking for a win as they are trying to break their two-game losing streak. Before their back-to-back losses, the Lightning were 7-1-0 in their last nine matches which was very impressive.

However, they have dropped their last two games and are really looking to turn things around against a hungry Predators team.

The Lightning are a solid team as they are very efficient in the offensive end as well as steady in the defensive side of the rink.

However, they need to put it together if they want to break their losing streak as the Predators are also as dangerous as they are.

Holding the fifth seed in the Central Division, the Predators are at 25-21-8 this season and are also coming off a loss.

Before that, Nashville won six of their last nine games and are looking to get back on track against Tampa Bay.

Though their defense may not be as strong as Tampa Bay, their offense is top-notch and this may shape up to be a very exciting battle.

As the perfect example, their earlier meeting resulted in a shootout where Nashville won 5-4.

Nashville had an early lead by winning the first period 1-0, before the Lightning crunched three goals to tie the game with a period left.

Both teams scored in the final period to set-up a thrilling end to the game which was eventually resolved by a shootout.

Do not be surprised if this battle ends the same way.
