Despite describing himself as an honest and loyal guy who has never cheated, Taylor Lautner is not making any judgments on his co-star Kristen Stewart.

Although Taylor Lautner plays the character of Jacob, who is embroiled in a three-way love affair in the "Twilight" saga, in real life he claims that he doesn't have much experience in that department. Instead, the actor paints himself as a loyal guy who still gets nervous around girls.

"Honesty and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about everything, that's probably the biggest key to success," the actor said during a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. "I like to think of myself as very loyal, and I love everyone I surround myself with, whether they're friends or girlfriends or whatever. I love loyal people."

Stating that he has no experience with cheating, Lautner didn't' want to weigh in on whether or not trust could be regained in cases like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart after it was unveiled that Stewart had cheated.

"To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I don't know [if trust can be regained]," he said. "It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don't want to give that if I haven't even been there myself."

But that doesn't mean that he's passing any judgments on Stewart, whom he said only nice things about.

"Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I'm always proud of her," he added.

Lautner did, however, state that it seemed possible to rekindle a relationship. An ex of Taylor Swift, the actor added that he stays friends with all of his exes, which is a good thing for him, unless he was looking to be named on Billboard's top music charts.

"There's no ex out there who I'm not friends with today, and I'm extremely thankful for that," he told Cosmo, adding that he thinks its "quite easy to rekindle" a relationship.
