Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris to Work on New Music Together?

Taylor Swift has been recently seen in the company of Calvin Harris, and the two got cozy last week at Kenny Chesney's concert on March 26. Now, there are reports that the EDM DJ wants to take Swift's career to the next level by featuring her in one of his new songs.

According to a source from Hollywood Life, the "Shake it Off" singer loves the idea of collaborating with the DJ and very flattered at how persistent he is when it comes to recording with her.

"Calvin is going after Taylor pretty hard, he's been sending her songs and brought her out to Vegas, he wants to work with her and she's said yes," the insider said. "She never saw herself as an EDM kind of girl but she's really changing as an artist, she doesn't want to get put back in one little box so she's trying everything. She just wants to create great music, whatever form that takes."

Swift has recently made the switch from country to pop with the release of her album 1989. Though the singer is said to stick with pop for a while as collaborations with Beyonce and Madonna are reportedly on the horizon, Swift might be taking a leaf out of her good friend, Selena Gomez's book if she does decide to record a song with Harris. Gomez has recently collaborated with DJ Zedd on the hit "I Want You to Know." Incidentally, Gomez is rumored to be dating Zedd.

Meanwhile, a source from Us Weekly confirms that Swift and Harris are indeed dating. According to the source, the two get along so well because both artists are currently focused on their careers, and that they share a mutual love for the business.

Reps for Swift and Harris have yet to confirm on the collaboration and dating rumors.
