Taylor Swift has denied rumors that she recently went under the knife after unintentionally fueling breast enhancement speculation when she was photographed shopping for women's lingerie at The Beverly Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Tuesday.
Fans of Swift, who is renowned for her good girl-next-door type image, were left shocked after rumors of a breast augmentation began swirling earlier this week. However, according to Gossip Cop. the singer's representative has said it is not true - although Gossip Cop later amended its reference to Swift's representative to "a source close to."
Recent photos of the 22-year-old suggested that she may have artificially enhanced her chest area, which prompted experts to weigh in.
"The country star appears to be following in the footsteps of another female country singer, Dolly Parton, and enhanced her breasts," plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told Hollywood Life.
Swift, who recently collaborated with Justin Bieber on a new song, has often had a carefree and simple approach to her appearance, but experts are convinced she underwent a plastic surgery procedure.
"I think it's pretty obvious that's she's had breast enhancement. It looks very nice and proportional," Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Fleming said.
Fans of the "Back To December" singer flocked to social networking website Twitter to weigh in on the hot topic before Swift's "representative" or "close source" was able to clear up the rumors.
"Taylor Swift got breast implants? Please tell me it isn't true. Why, Taylor?!! WHY?!!!!" Lou Valdes tweeted.
"Taylor Swift got breast implants? Thank God she finally did something scandalous," Will Wright tweeted.
"Ugh taylor swift got breast implants, so [sic] disapointed, i guess its just demilovato4lyfe now !" Krista Monahan tweeted.
Swift is arguably one of the most successful female artists of her generation.
In 2008, Swift became the youngest artist to win a Grammy award for "Album Of The Year" with her album "Fearless" which is the most awarded album in country music history.
