Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Rumors: DJ Interested in Singer?

Among the many celebrity couple alerts going on around these days, the one pointing to Taylor and Calvin Harris is the most resounding.

Following the rumors that new romance might be happening between the country singer and the DJ, recent celebrity news from Hollywood Life indicated that Calvin might be going on all out and is ready for a relationship.

The site's sources said that the 31-year-old musician will do "whatever it takes to make sure Taylor won't be writing a breakup song about him" as well as earn the trusts of Swift's BFFs like Selena Gomez and Sarah Hyland.

"Calvin has enormous respect for Taylor, and he's been incredibly gentlemanly towards her so far in their courtship," the person with the knowledge of the issue said. "For that reason, her friends, knowing full well about his past reputation, are going to give him the benefit of doubt and trust him with Taylor."

"There's no doubt that Calvin has always had a long stream of female admirers," the person added. "He's also been a bit of a player in the past – but he wants to do the right thing by Taylor."

The Scottish music producer was utterly delighted with the "Shake It Off" hit maker's pleasant personality, according to reports.

"Taylor is exactly what Calvin needs in a girlfriend," a source said. "She's a wholesome, big-hearted southern belle who will do anything for her man, and that's really what he likes in a woman."

"Calvin was pleasantly surprised how unaffected by her fame Taylor is and just how normal she can be," the insider added. "She's a very genuine person and Calvin admires that trait because she could so easily be another spoiled diva given her success."
