Taylor Swift New Song 'Bad Blood' Slams Female Artist Who is a 'Straight-Up Enemy'

After the "ignore the haters" anthem "Shake It Off" has been released, Taylor Swift is yet again set to reveal a new song from her upcoming and first pop music album, 1989.

Entitled "Bad Blood," the song has quite an interesting backstory. While Swifters and music-goers are used to Swift's stories about love life and exes, "Bad Blood" talks about other things completely.

In a recent interview for the Rolling Stone, the Grammy-award winning song writer said that the song, considered to be the "angriest song on 1989," is about another female artist which she declines to name.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," the multi-platinum seller artist told the publication. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

From verbal attacks, the other star went off to cross the line.

"She did something so horrible," Swift explained. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.'"

The "Red" singer even went to disclose how the unnamed foe "tried to sabotage an entire arena tour" by trying to hire a bunch of people out from under her.

Swift, later on said that she wants her fans and listeners to know that "Bad Blood" wasn't about an ex-boyfriend.

"I know people will make it this big girl-fight thing. But I just want people to know it's not about a guy," Swift explained. "You don't want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that's not the case."

Taylor Swift's album 1989 is scheduled to be out on Oct. 27 under Big Machine Records.
