Nicole Polizzi's joint boxing venture with her father, has proved continued success.
Snooki and her father Andy Polizzi joined forces with Mike Pascale of Final Round Promotions last year, in an effort to put together a three man boxing team. The team features a band of Irish brothers, which includes Patrick "Pajo" Hyland, Eddie Hyland, and Paul Hyland. But so far, the greatest success story has fallen on "Pajo" who will be heading for a career defining fight this coming December.
In August Pajo beat the record of professional wins in a row after taking a unanimous points victory over Dominican Carlos Fulgencio. On Dec. 8, Pajo will have the opportunity to take his skills to the MGM Grand Las Vegas on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez undercard.
"The contract has been verbally approved and will be formally signed the beginning of next week," Pascale said in an interview with NY FightBlog. "Top Rank wants to make the announcement soon. This fight will showcase two very tough, undefeated fighters and will be a war from start to finish. I can tell you this, Patrick has prepared for this night since he started fighting at the age of five and we will dominate."
Pajo will go up against Dominican born Javier Fortuna, 22. Fortuna is also undefeated, with 20 wins.
Meanwhile the 24 year-old reality star has been busy being a new mom.
"I was very nervous at first," the former Jersey shore star said in an interview with Ok Magazine on Wednesday. "But it actually comes naturally. Maternal instincts are in me, and I'm having a blast being a mom. Maybe because Lorenzo's such a good baby, but he hardly cries."
She also admitted that her new past time has become dressing up her son. When asked what her favorite part of motherhood was she said, "Trying to dress him up like Pauly D!"
"I just make him swaggy [in his] Ralph Lauren clothes. He looks so cute!" the star told Ok.
