'Teen Mom 3' Cast Briana DeJesus Will Join 'Teen Mom 2'

One of the stars of the canceled "Teen Mom 3" show, Briana DeJesus, is reported to be joining the cast of the ongoing "Teen Mom 2" for its season 8 run. "Teen Mom 2" has just wrapped up its seventh season last Monday, March 19, with its 25th season finale episode.

The controversial star of the discontinued "Teen Mom 3" could be making her way over to the eighth season of "Teen Mom 2," the exclusive report by The Ashley's Reality Roundup claims, whose sources are said to be close to the show's production team. MTV could be thinking of making things more exciting for the long-running "Teen Mom 2" by adding DeJesus to the mix.

The move has not been met with enthusiasm from the cast and crew, with some of the "Teen Mom 2" girls having unpleasant encounters with DeJesus in the past. The addition of the new cast member will also mean that the four original girls of "Teen Mom 2" will have their screen time cut down to make way for DeJesus.

Sources have told Radar Online that the decision is something that is ill-considered on the part of the network. "If something isn't broke, why fix it?" one source said, adding "The show is doing beyond well." Another said, "It's the most bizarre move MTV has ever made ... They are jumping the shark!"

DeJesus has announced that she is pregnant once again, and is expecting a second child. Her announcement was made alongside a sonogram photo that she posted on Instagram, along with the caption: "Looks like Nova won't be an only child anymore. Super excited for July," as reported by Us Magazine, but the post appears to have been taken down.

DeJesus will join the cast of "Teen Mom 2," alongside show regulars Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Jenelle Evans. Sources have reported that DeJesus has already joined the filming for the upcoming episodes of the show.
