"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans has threatened to leave the MTV reality series following the airing of this week's episode that she claims were a display of disrespect towards her and her husband.
This week's episode of "Teen Mom 2" showed Evans and husband David Eason seemingly suffering from relationship issues and refusing to address them. While the scenes were filmed as they happened, Evans claimed that they were presented in a way that placed her husband in a bad light.
In a post to Instagram a day after the airing of the said episode, Evans admitted that she and Eason, indeed, don't see eye to eye on everything as far as their relationship is concerned. However, according to the reality star, this doesn't mean that the man in her life is hiding something from the public.
"Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday's episode was uncalled for. Because David didn't feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?! I have decided after this season I'm probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told Morgan it's getting to out of hand and it's not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally," goes a portion of Evans Instagram post last Tuesday.
According to sources, MTV is planning a Season 8B for "Teen Moms 2," which means the network will have to extend the contract of their stars for more episodes. While MTV has yet to officially announce the second half of the current season, it is alleged that Evans already refuses to cooperate.
Rumors also claim that, of all the cast members of "Teen Mom 2," it is only Evans who knows of MTV's plan for a season 8B. While the other cast members, including Kail Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus, are already filming, they are said to be clueless that the additional episodes are for the second half of "Teen Mom 2" season 8.
While it remains unclear whether Evans and MTV can settle the issue, Evans has also posted a video on Instagram as she promotes the beauty products she uses. Whether this means she will venture into beauty blogging once she leaves "Teen Mom 2," fans can only speculate for now.
