'Teen Wolf' Cast News, Update: Series Star Confirms Exit In Season 6

Arden Cho, the katana-weilding kitsune character Kira Yukimura on MTV's hit supernatural drama TV series "Teen Wolf," was last seen in Season 5 with Scott (Tyler Posey) who left her in the desert where she would be spending her time with the Skinwalkers. There's nothing really indicative about the scene which says that the aforementioned character won't never be coming back for Season 6. But then, a shocking development just came which could mean that this is already the last time to see the character on screen.

The news came straight from Cho who, in Monday, posted a video aptly called "Goodbye Teenwolf." The 30-year-old TV actress appears to have lost for words as she mumbles, trying to figure out how to better announce the sad news that she's already leaving the show.

"A lot of you guys have been asking about Teen Wolf and what's been happening, and I just want to say, I love Kira Yukimura," she said in the video. "I love the Yukimura family. I loved my expirence on Teen Wolf. I love the cast and crew. It's been an amazing 3 and a half years. It's gone by so fast. But, unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira's storyline and she won't be coming back for season six."

In the clip, she further shared her wish that the show would have developed a little bit more of Kira's powers and extended the lore of the Skinwalkers. She did, however, made it clear that she's thankful on how show gave her character that epic ending.

Nonetheless, like most of what her fans might be feeling right now, she still believes that this is not the end of the road for Kira.

"You never know with Teen Wolf," she added. "People might come back."

For the meantime, "Teen Wolf" is currently filming for Season 6 and its premiere date is yet to be known.
