'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Cast News, Update: An 'Appearance' of a Familiar Face' Coming Up, Tyler Posey Talks Stiles and Scott Rift

While fans are waiting for the return of MTV's hit supernatural teen TV drama series "Teen Wolf" to the small screens, the cast graced the recently held ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend to drop some insider's details on what to expect for the show's upcoming chapter.

Executive producer Russell Mucahy teased about the "appearance" of a "familiar face" in Season 5. Several speculations pointed out to Allison (Crystal Reed) appearing in a flashback, Jackson's (Colton Hayes) visit from London, or Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) dropping by at Beacon Hills.

Holland Roden, who plays the character Lydia, said actors can "come back" but he wouldn't reveal much.

"As far as actors coming back, there's always so many different forms in which they can come back, but that's all I'll say," he told People.

"The people that didn't die, there's a chance they may come back. But I don't think we raise from the dead," Mucahy added. "As long as you have your head on, you're fine."

Tyler Posey, meanwhile talked about the crumbling state of the friendship between his Scott and Dylan O'Brien's Stiles.

"Best friends go through things, and Stiles and Scott are very different in their beliefs and their ability," the actor explained. "Scott's a werewolf, Stiles is a human, and it gets in the way a lot. Scott is very stubborn about his beliefs, and sometimes Stiles isn't able to do things the way Scott can."

"It's just normal friendship. I like the fact that they are doing it, and it shows true colors and friends," Posey continued. "Dylan and I have some great stuff coming up this season."
