'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Cast News: Who Is Leaving the Series?

As the fifth season of "Teen Wolf" comes to a close, it was hinted that a character will be leaving the series.

It was revealed that Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O'Brien, will soon be leaving the showing. The executive producer of the series, Jeff Davis, recently spoke to Forbes during the New York Comic-Con about the actor's decision to leave.

However, he did explain that even though O'Brien will be leaving the series, his character will still have a happy ending. It was revealed that Stiles and Lydia Martin will finally become and official couple at the end of the current season.

With that, Dylan O'Brien also had an opportunity to share his sentiments about his departure. He said, "I'm just very aware of what this show means to me, and I would never, by my own hand, say it's time for me to move on. I'm going to miss this show when it's over. Forever and ever this will be my first role, and that's so special. As long as the stories are still being told, I will have a hand in telling them."

Star of the series, Tyler Posey, had revealed some more information about the upcoming episodes during the New York Comic-Con. Since he recently directed an episode of the series for the first time, he shared some details about how he went about doing it.

He said, "I want all the actors and everybody there to be like, 'Okay let's talk it out. Let's have fun with this.' So hopefully actors don't hate me. But we have such a great relationship, and I don't think it can be hurt by me directing them. [But] I don't know. We'll see."

Fans will get a chance to see his work when "Teen Wolf" season 5 returns this Jan. 2016.
