'Teen Wolf' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Theo Reveals His Intentions to Malia, Kira Continues to Pull Away

The sneak peek for the upcoming episode of MTV's hit supernatural teen drama TV series "Teen Wolf" suggests a tensed encounter between Theo (Cody Christian) and Malia (Shelley Hennig). Meanwhile, Kira (Arden Cho) continues to distance herself from the people close to her, especially Scott (Tyler Posey).

From International Business Times, the promo video for this week's episode titled "Required Reading" sees Malia getting troubled over what she revealed about the Desert Wolf incident to Theo. Sensing her presence, the latter decided to take his shirt off perhaps to distract Malia as she approached the gym.

Malia asks why he hasn't revealed the issue to Scott, Theo on the other hand assumed that she wanted to keep it a secret.

"I don't," she said. "Are you going to want to know why?"

"Not really," he answered.

Sizing up the situation, Malia goes near ballistic as she steps close to stop what Theo has been doing.

"You think you're doing me a favour? Like I'm gonna owe you now?" she asked with a threatening tone.

The surprised Theo revealed all he really wanted is to be "in the pack." Malia explains it isn't for her to decide.

Meanwhile, the spoiler report from Christian Today points out to Kira getting more distant from Scott and the people around her.

The report indicated that the kitsune will continue to show coldness from her Alpha boyfriend as she fears that she might not be able to control her growing powers anymore. Scott, on the other hand, might start to question his trust on her.

As it was told beforehand by executive producer Jeff Davis, Kira's intention to "pull away" from the pack is to actually save them from the harm she might do.

"This season is all about power going haywire for Kira. The rise in her power and her lack of control begins to push them (Kira and Scott) apart," Davis told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Teen Wolf" Season 5 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
