'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Scott Rallies New Allies To Fight The Beast

On Monday, MTV released the latest trailer (via MTV.com) for the second half of the current fifth season of its hit teen supernatural drama TV series "Teen Wolf." The teaser reveals a much bigger, more powerful and utterly dangerous foe that could threaten the very existence of the people of Beacon Hill.

In January 5, Scott (Tyler Posey) won't only be busy regrouping his pack but also calling on reinforcements to help him face and take on the Beast.

In the video, the villain is being described as "history's most vicious, infamous wolf." The scenes further showcased its monstrosity with its long, creepy claws, huge size and glowing eyes. In this terrifying situation, Scott might have to set aside his differences with Theo (Cody Christian) with whom he previously had a run in with after the latter attempted to kill Scott and raise his own pack of chimeras.

Besides Theo, Scott will also be getting some back-up from Chris Argent (JR Bourne), who had just returned from his trip abroad. Coming back along with him is his father, Gerard (Michael Logan), who is also expected to help with the hunt for The Beast.

Concerning his own pack, Scott can also be seen talking to Malia (Shelley Hennig) over the matters of winning back Stiles (Dylan O'Brien). However, it appears that even Malia is clueless on how to convince Stiles to patch things up with Scott.

Making the matters worse is the pressing issue concerning the Dread Doctors, who are the main antagonists this season. The clip hinted that the rising death rate in town might force the teenagers to be in constant vigilance as if they are "fighting for [their] lives."

Beyond all the danger that is yet to come, fans may find relief in knowing that Lydia (Holland Roden) will finally be saved as it was clearly shown in the video.
