'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Premiere Date, Plot Spoilers: New Characters and Love Plots Coming to the Show

Good news for those who have been waiting for the return of the hit supernatural teen drama series "Teen Wolf," reports indicated that shooting for season 5 has already started. But that won't be all.

A report from VCPost.com pointed out that the upcoming season will see new characters that will definitely spice up the show. For one, there's Theo, who will be played by Cody Christian from "Pretty Little Liars."

According to the casting report, Theo is a 19-year-old senior of "lycanthropic persuasion" who will come to Beacon Hills in search of a new pack to lead or to follow. Like many newcomers, Theo's past will be wrapped in mystery.

It was also revealed that the premiere episode will be called "Creatures of the Night." Given the title, fans could speculate that this would involve more than wolves.

As for the premise of the fifth season, VC Post went on to say that the season will delve deeper into the story surrounding Malia's mom as well as the mystery behind Ryan Kelly's Deputy Jordan Parrish.

A recent report from TVLine meanwhile hinted that Keahu Kahuanui's Danny Mahealani might not return in the show. However, viewers should expect yet another new character to appear during episode 4 titled "Condition Terminal."

This recurring character named Corey will start off by getting "treated in an operating room for a strange, painful wound dished." The wounds, as told by the publication, will come from his boyfriend named Lucas – "a shy young man who has become an aggressive problem at a club."

More plot spoilers and casting rumors are expected to trickle out ahead of "Teen Wolf's" return to MTV this summer.
