'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' Set Videos Released Shows 'Arrow' Star Stephen Amell Geared Up as Casey Jones

Filming for the sequel of the 3D science fiction action comedy film series, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," is now reportedly in session and a slew of set videos released showed The CW's "Arrow" star Stephen Amell suiting up as Casey Jones.

Per Screen Rant, the first video title saw the return of Megan Fox as the journalist April O'Neil. She is seen running away from a Foot Clan ninja. After what seems to be a confrontation, Amell's hockey stick-wielding character showed in to knock down the assailant.

The next scene showed the Ninja Turtle brothers approaching April. Casey went to his guard once again thinking that the newcomers are cohorts of the Foot Clan member. Thanks to April, the vigilantes were finally acquainted with each other.

Another footage, posted on Instagram, features the cast of Ninja Turtles having some fun while wearing their motion-capture suits, meanwhile Fox and Amell watch nearby.

There's also a video with Fox wearing what appears to be a school girl's uniform. Screen Rant was quick to speculate that the blonde hair and school attire are some "part of an undercover disguise" as her character is a reporter.

On related news, the Kensington Expressway was closed off earlier this week for the filming of TMNT 2.

A report from WGRZ, an NBC news company, cited dozens of stunt actors, crew members, and film producers. They are said to be in town "for the next two weeks to film a major action sequence for the movie," the site wrote.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is slated to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
