'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' News: Developers Announced Tournament Before Releasing the Game

Fans of the upcoming "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will be happy to hear that the release of the game will bring an exciting event.

The game developer Bandai Namco recently announced that they are determined to bring "Tekken 7: Fated Revolution" to the United States. They said that the game's debut will be celebrated with the Iron Fist Tournament 2016. United States and Canada will host the upcoming "Tekken 7: The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2016 - North America."

Fans will be able to compete against each other in the upcoming tournament. The winnters of each tournament will receive prizes from the prize pool of $3000. The grand prize winner will receive $20,000. The director of the game Katsuhiro Harada shared his excitement for the event.

He said as quoted by Crossmap, "I'm excited to see what the North American Tekken community is made of as they compete over the next seven months in the Tekken 7: The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2016 in North America."

Aside from the tournament, the trailer for the upcoming title was also released showing some sneak peeks into the new game. It previewed the fan favorite characters taking on challenges. Bandai Namco is also expected to show more of the upcoming title at the London Comic-Con, which is set to happen this weekend. Fans are also hoping to see the developers at the upcoming E3 2016 to get more details about "Tekken 7."

There is a lot of anticipation for its release on PlayStation 4, despite the availability of its competition, "Street Fighter 5." The game will bring 29 characters to the gameplay, with new characters expected to follow.

In addition, the characters will speak in their native languages such as German and French. In the meantime, fans can prepare for the upcoming tournament for "Tekken 7."
