'The 100' News, Update: Alycia Debnam-Carey Says Having Clarke Is Hazardous; Show Boss Reveals Season 3 Premiere Date

Alycia Debnam-Carey previously said teased that the third season of The CW's post-apocalyptic drama TV series "The 100" will certainly feature a "ferocious love triangle" happening between Clarke, Lexa and Bellamy.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Debnam-Carey went on to tease that what Lexa wants, it will really happen. However, she said that "it might not be an easy reconciliation."

The "Fear the Walking Dead" star explained to the publication that having Clarke back into Lexa's life could be "hazardous" thing for the character.

"She's opening up a wound again," the actress said (via EW). "What happened last time when she was emotionally available, her lover was killed. It's a very dangerous position to be in, but at the end of the day, she's only human and she'll have that human emotion."

On related news, a social media interaction between the fans of the show and executive producer Jason Rothenberg inadvertently revealed what appears to be Season 3's premiere date.

Replying to a query, the showrunner said that the show might return "mid-season."

"Beginning Jan or Feb…maybe March, but I hope not and doubt it," the EP wrote in his Twitter (via International Business Times).

According to earlier reports, the show is currently working on the Season 3 premiere which is said to pick up "a couple of months" after the massacre at Mount Weather which could mean more bloody incidents in the new chapter.

Writer Shawna Benson, who also took to Twitter last week, admits that "it's hard to manage expectations over a long break" and follow-up what seems to be the one of the most intense events that the show ever aired.

Nonetheless, the scribe assured that "S3 is pretty amazing," adding that "all our characters have great stories this year."
