'The Bachelor' 2015 Spoilers: Premiere Episode Recap

Chris Soules started his journey of finding "the one" on the premiere of "The Bachelor" which aired on Monday, Jan. 5. On the first night, Soules had a tough job on his hands deciding who among the 30 women he should send home packing.

Britt, a waitress from Hollywood, was the first to arrive. As she exits the limo, she is seen with a "Free Hug" sign and gives Chris a very long hug. Whitney is next, and she declares Chris as "America's prince."

Reegan, a "donated tissue specialist," brings a cooler and opens it to reveal what appears to be a heart. "It's not real, it's a joke," she says. Chris plays along and says, "It's a good call. I might need an extra heart anyway."

Tara, a "sports fishing enthusiast," steps out of the limo dressed in cowboy boots, Daisy Dukes, and a plaid shirt. She went into the mansion and changed into a black dress, came back outside and slipped back into the limo, then came back again to meet Chris.

Amanda, a ballet teacher, told Chris to close his eyes before she got out of the limo and approached him from behind. She then tells him that she was going to be his "secret admirer."

Tandra, an executive assistant, rode in on a motorcycle while wearing a long gown. "That's pretty cool," said Chris. Meanwhile, Brittany, a WWE diva in training, wore a short white lace dress that raised eyebrows and she held a sign which said #Soulmates.

Carly, a cruise ship singer, got out of the limo holding a karaoke machine and sang a song to Chris about the two of them being together. Nicole, a real estate agent, wore a pig nose and said, "I wanted to ham it up for you to make you feel at home and hopefully make you laugh."

Tara got drunk, but still got a rose from Chris. After handing out 13 roses, Chris left the room and told host Chris Harrison that he didn't know what to do about Tara.

"I was going to pick her, but Tara's wasted drunk," he said. Harrison told him that it's his call.

Britt got the first impression rose and got to kiss Chris that night. "We were kissing and it was honestly like I was kissing someone who's my boyfriend that I've known for a long time," she says to the camera.

Those who got a rose aside from Tara and Britt include Jordan, Whitney, Kelsey, Megan, Ashley I., Trina, Amber, Nikki, Kaitlyn, Jillian, Mackenzie, Samantha, Becca, Carly, Tandra, Alissa, Tracy and Jade. The final rose of the night went to Ashley S.

Those who were sent home are Reegan, Nicole, Brittany, Bo, Michelle, Kimberly, Kara, and Amanda. Though Kimberly didn't get a rose, she ignored the show's producers and asked to steal Chris for a second and led him outside.

"The Bachelor" airs on Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
