'The Bachelorette' Andi Dorfman and Others Slam Nick Viall, Show's Producers for Revealing Private Information

"The Bachelorette" is known in part for its loose rules and dramatic encounters among contestants. However, one contestant, as well as the show's producers, is being bashed for "classless" remarks he made on what happened behind closed doors with most recent Bachelorette Andi Dorfman.

"If you weren't in love with me, I'm just not sure why, like, why you made love with me?" former contestant, and runner-up Nick Viall asked during the "After the Rose" special with Dorfman and her fiancé, Josh Murray.

"That's kinda below the belt," Dorfman responded.

It's one thing for viewers to imagine what goes on in the show's fantasy suites, but for one suitor to actually reveal what happened is something new. And it did not sit well with Dorfman, Murray, or another former "Bachelor" contestant.

"It was very classless and disrespectful," Murray told Us Weekly. "It just shows the type of person that he really is. I don't associate myself with those kind of people and neither does Andi, so it's nice that that's over with and no concern to us or our lives."

"We're good at focusing on ourselves," Dorfman added. "We got a lot going on between the two of us, which is great, but we really just decided to take the high road and focus on the positive people and the people that are showing support."

Former "Bachelor" contestant Nikki Ferrell took to Twitter to express her outrage at Viall's question and the show's producers.

"Gee I wonder who told Nick to say that …. How the producers of @BachelorABC sleep at night is beyond me. #trash," Ferrell tweeted. "But on a positive note so beyond happy for @AndiDorfman and @jmurbulldog. I bet it feels so good to be free! #congrats."

Viall has since said that he hopes to be friends with the couple once things settle down and note that "it's a difficult situation for all of us."

"Last night was a bit unexpected," he told Us Weekly. "I certainly wish them all the happiness in the world. Josh, for much of the time before things got a little awkward, was a very close friend of mine. I think the world of him and I think the world of her. It's a difficult situation for all of us. I do, in a lot of ways, miss that friendship I had with Josh. I don't know if it will ever be the same, but it would be cool if we could all get to that point where it was possible."
