'The Bachelorette' Recap: And Then There Were Two

Emily Maynard has a hard decision on her hands; the single mother narrowed her suitors down to two after three intense dates. She finally heard the words "I love you" from Sean, but did he make it to the final two?

Emily repeatedly talked about her disappointment in not hearing Sean say, "I love you." It was clear that she was unnerved by the situation and made sure to include a romantic dinner for the pair. Sean finally revealed that he was, in fact, falling for the bachelorette, instantly making Emily happy.

The couple then returned to the "fantasy suite," but did not spend the entire night together. Emily said she wanted to set a good example for her daughter and wanted to remain true to her beliefs and morals before sending Sean back to his own hotel room.

Next came a date with Jef, in which Emily revealed that she thought he would make a good father to her daughter, Ricki. Then it was Emily's turn to be a bit reserved, as she was clearly tongue-tied around the younger suitor.

"A whole life together is just starting," Jef narrated as the sun set on their romantic venture at sea.

She and Jef had a serious talk about the future, where they would live should their relationship continue, and why things hadn't worked out for them in the past. Both agreed they would love to start their life together in a brand new city and were grateful for the chance to be together now.

Jef was the one to turn down a night in the fantasy suite, citing his family and Ricki watching the show at some point.

"We have the rest of our lives," he explained, "and there is a time and a place." Yet Emily wasn't exactly thrilled, saying that she wanted to be the one to turn him down.

Finally, it was Arie's turn for some one-on-one time with Emily. The pair, known for their intense chemistry, spent the day in the ocean before settling down to have a serious talk over dinner. The question of whether there was something other than chemistry to their relationship.

In an interesting turn of events, Emily decided not to give Arie the opportunity to enjoy the fantasy suite.

"I don't trust myself," she explained, and "as a role model and a mom, I just can't put myself in that situation."

Then came a steady stream of tears as Emily prepared for the final rose ceremony. Arie, Jef, and Sean all recorded final video messages for Emily before she came to the ceremony, and it was clear that she was having a hard time making a final decision.

Jef received the first rose and Arie the second. Which man will Emily now choose?
