'The Bastard Executioner' Episode 5 Spoilers and Episode 4 Recap: Ed Sheeran Makes an Appearance

In the new episode of "The Bastard Executioner" entitled "P. Profit/Proffidwyr Troeth," the official synopsis reads, "The King's right hand visits on official business and Milus gets Wilkin to search for a valuable artifact."

In the preview for the episode, it seems that Wilk will settle into his new life, his new identity, and his new charge. It will put Wilk in a difficult position as he goes toe-to-toe with Milus. Milus does have leverage over Wilk that will require him to do things that go against his morals.

In the promo for the episode, it shows that people who are frauds get executed. Wilk grows close to the Baroness, who is longing for something. There is more drama and fighting as the show reaches its halfway point for the season.

The previous episode began with Wilk as he heard his wife Jessamy who was having a nightmare, while the baby cried. Wilk carried the baby and the baby settled. Meanwhile, Lady Love was on her way to London with Isabel. Nora was awakened by a vision.

Wilk dreamt of his dead wife and Jessamy wanted to become close to Wilk. Baron Pryce arrived and he is annoyed when he discovered that Lady Love was not around. Wilk had to participate in a tournament the castle was holding. In the meantime, Lady Love arrived at the Windsor castle and she was greeted by one of the king's advisors.

Lady Love got cleaned up, in order to see the king. At the caverns, Nora told the others that Wilk will not be able to come and that they should pack up. Lady Love talked to Isabel about the past.

A man named Tobias was being tortured by a man named Sir Cormac, who is played by singer Ed Sheeran in order to obtain some information. However, the man will not talk at all. Cormac went to his boss, the Archdecon, and told him that the man refused to talk.

Wilk bonded with Luca. Cormac narrowed down the places where the seraphim could be and Tobias died. Later on, Wilk stopped Jessamy from burning Luca.

"The Bastard Executioner" airs every Tuesday.
