The official synopsis for The Big Bang Theory Season 10 premiere episode has just been released by CBS and it teases what happens the morning after Mary Cooper and Alfred Hofstadter's night together. It will certainly be awkward for their children Sheldon and Leonard who happen to be roommates.

The Season 9 finale of the long running hit comedy series left viewers wondering if Mary and Alfred did indeed hook up after their late night shenanigans. Also in the first episode of the season, Penny's family will be introduced. Susan, the mother is anxiety ridden and her husband Randall is a drug dealer. They will come to visit their daughter and her new husband in the episode.

Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris will guest star in multiple episodes in The Big Bang Theory Season 10. He will play Captain Williams, a representative from the Air Force Department of Material Command. He will be interested in the quantum gyroscope for military applications developed by Howard and Leonard. It turns out that there is a basis for Howard's fear of being spied by the government after all.
Expected to Outlast Friends
There has been widespread speculations on the renewal chances of the series going beyond the upcoming tenth season. CBS entertainment President Glenn Geller never hid his confidence in extending the life of the show.
As it is, ten years is already a long time for any network show. However, The Big Bang Theory is expected to outlast two of the longest comedies in recent times. Friends aired for 10 years while Seinfeld lasted 9 years.
Everyone Wants to Go On
According to Geller, everyone involved in the show wants it to go on. The current three year contracts of its stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco are set to expire on May 2017. The three are estimated to be currently earning $1 million per episode. Geller said that Warner Bros. will likely make the cast deals for the three stars to stay on the show.
The Big Bang Theory Season 9 averaged 20.6 million viewers. It is the only CBS network series besides NCIS to top 20 million.
